Judgment Day?

Throughout our history, religious leaders and organizations have claimed that their holy books provide accurate prophecies about the End Of The World. The examples shown in this video are (relatively) fringe organizations, but despite their overt activism and cult-like behavior, organizations like FamilyRadio.com provide a glimpse into what the more mainstream religions adhere to and believe. Pastors, priests, apologists, ministers, religious philosophers and leaders of every kind, from every generation, have quoted from the books of Daniel and Revelation about the End of Days. Are their claims any less ridiculous? And should they be held any less accountable?

God will destroy the Earth? Hang on a sec’, I thought God was the good guy in all this. Obviously not!

@FluffyFeralMarmot Just think about it this way. We’ll all wake up on Sunday morning with the population of the world reduced by about 2 billion people all of which are Christians. There will be less overcrowding, more resources, and less stupidity. I say it’s too bad it’s not ending on a Thursday after work. Then they can declare it a holiday and we can all take Friday and Monday off and get a 4 day weekend.

Seems we all have a sense of humor.
As you saw in the belgium news, our prince had contact with Libia.
    Belgium will restore world peace

    Next reveal:
The machine which causes earthquakes can be used to transmit power without the use of wires. Therefore Europe can send power to the 3th world and provide the poor with electricity. This was Nikola Tesla’s dream

What kind of psychopath ends the world on a Saturday!?! A kind and loving god would do it on a Monday, preferably before I have to get up for work.

@101Pilgrim I was afraid for years…under the surface. But it’s like emerging from a deep sleep. The more awake I become, the more lucid, energetic and confident I feel. It’s a wonderful thing.

  9. 101Pilgrim says:

TheThinkingAtheist…how do you do it? How do you resist the fear mongering? I’m on the fringe of rationalism and Christianity; I believe in Science, but I fear of the end. How do you, Atheists, remain in absolute confidence when people proclaim the end? I’m lost between the end, but I’ve seen the irrationality of Christians and the religious.

How do you remain so steadfast in the face of rage and fear?

    Next reveal:

    Matthew 24:36

This “Christian” minister guy is a false prophet.

  12. vitaley420 says:

if the world will not end on that day then some people are going to look stupid.

  13. Darkcrusher84 says:

It happens automatically. After 21st of may, there is no GOD.
Therefore only ALLAH remains. This will cause suicide attacks in USA.
This is why Kadhaffi feels victory very soon

You know what scares me, the fact that knowing it is not going to be the end of the world, someone tries to “make it happen”
    I just hope they don’t …

wow this pastor will look like an idiot if the world doesnt end in october

  21. GTBurns48215 says:

@TerraceYouth Look up John Nelson Darby, he started the Rapture thing in the 1830′s. Before that this concept was not at once mentioned by the Gospels, Early Catholic Church, Greek Orthodox, or Russian Orthodox. Neither did Martin Luther, John Calvin or John Wesley even talk about it.

    It’s a 19th Century Fantasy.

  22. TerraceYouth says:

@GTBurns48215 LOL…!! Okay. Prove it! The floor is yours. And don’t give me any atheist mumbo-jumbo like your college professor with the pony-tail taught you.

  23. TerraceYouth says:

If you’re trying to shine a negative light on Christianity because someone made a wrong prediction, then I say to you.. read the scriptures!

Jesus says “No man knows the day or the hour. Not even the Son. Only the FATHER knows”

And THAT is all there is to it! You’re all just a bunch of intolerant haters. Just for being here. Christians have much on the hateful atheist.

Acts 26:14 – “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the thorn bushes.” : )

I’m here to make the world a better place. Harold is right about the earthquake. It’s caused by HAARP using nikola Tesla’s unrevealed invention: The magnifying transmitter. I will build it on small scale before 21st of may. It will be used to transmit power wireless to the 3th world instead of causing earthquakes and tsunamis.
