How to ensure that the job you are applying for is not fake
The economy is growing, the industries are expanding, and so are the job opportunities for a common man. After completing his studies, a student always looks for good and bright career opportunities, which helps him in paving a better career route to success and development. The job, which is the basis of the living for many houses, is also many- a- times, the only source of income for many families, which increases the need of job for a person.
Some people wait for a better Job opportunity, while some grab the very first job opportunity, which comes to them, with the prospect of not wasting the time anyhow. The urgent need and the keenness to acquire a job, sometimes land a person to a false job opening. This can also be called as falling prey to the false advisements of providing highly paid and lucrative job opportunities.
Due to the slowdown, which the companies across the globe have faced recently, many people have started fooling the common masses over the job. Taking advantage of the downfall in the job market, it became very easier for the candidates to fall prey to these false commitments. There have been many cases lately, in which many fraud job providers have made use of the innocence of the job seeker and have in a way looted thousands of rupees from such candidates. Jobs in foreign currencies, great money, association with big brands, foreign trips, are few of the tools which are used to make a fool out of the candidates ready to do anything for acquiring a good job. Following are few of the points, which can be helpful in checking the accuracy of the job opening and the organisation providing the job:
1.) First of all, no job provider demands advance money from the candidate, for providing a job. People, generally fall prey to such frauds because of the number of benefits and lucrative options present in the letter or the mail. The factor of giving money does seem very small in front of the future benefits, which the company promises to pay in future. But, the candidate should not fall for this bug and should never deposit cash or check to some bank account, this ultimate makes the person keep falling into the pit of debts and loans.
2.) Secondly, before replying to the mail, the candidate must check the authenticity of the company, by searching it on internet. There are even some cases, where the name of the company and its details mentioned are even fake. So a proper cross check should be done, before applying for the job.
3.) The mode of recruitment is also something, which should be kept an eye on. If the process demands for going for an interview across the country or somewhere outside the city, then the existence and the authenticity of the job provider should be doubly checked, because, major organisations have offices pan India, making it easy for their HR teams to conduct interviews in the respective city or state.
4.) If at any point, someone faces a doubtful situation then an HR consultation should be taken about the whole recruitment process of the concerned company.
5.) The authenticity of the recruitment firm itself can be checked online, because most of the companies these days have online websites, to grab more customers.
There have been no proper implementations of the cyber laws in the country till date, due to which one cannot actually trace and take action against the fraud company or the criminal. Therefore, the common man himself has to be aware and cautious while replying for mails regarding jobs. A proper verification should be done, before applying for the concerned job. It is in the hands of the person himself, how he can save himself, for loosing money and from proving himself as an idiot and dumb.
